As explained in the FAQ page on how to execute the A§E Azimuth localization test, this test comes with 4 built-in stimuli:
- A 1/3 octave narrow-band noise with 4 kHz centre frequency
- Speech-Shaped Noise
- LPF noise: low pass filtered noise with cut-off frequency = 400 Hz
- HPF noise: high pass filtered noise with cut-off frequency = 3000 Hz
However, it is possible to use any sound available in Audiqueen as a stimulus for the localization test (you need administrator rights for this) .
![]() | To do this, click on the settings button in the localization test (1). Audiqueen then displays the library of available speech signals and noise signals (2). You can now select a signal and designate it as the stimulus for the azimuth test (3). From now on, that signal will be available in the Azimuth localization test. |
